Each October, Montezuma becomes one of the host communities for the Parke County Covered Bridge Festival.  During the Festival, tours of the bridges of the county and the Wabash and Erie Canal site are provided for a nominal charge.  Many exciting events are already scheduled for the 2008 Festival, some of which are listed below, and you can obtain a schedule here. Many forms of lodging are available in and around Montezuma, ranging from camping in one of the two parks in town, to a motel in town, to hotels and motels in neighboring communities.  Additional lodging and restaurant information can be found at the Parke County Covered Bridge Festival Lodging webpage.  Should one wish to camp in the parks in Montezuma, you will be required to complete the camping registration form.

If you wish to be a vendor in Montezuma during the Covered Bridge Festival, you must complete and submit the vendor registration form.  There is a map of available vendor sites, as well.
